
Edil Vidal Torres is a Food Technologist and Scientist at the Northern Crops Institute, specializing in quality evaluation, sensory analysis, product development, and pilot-scale processing of soybeans, grains, oilseeds, and pulses. She holds degrees in Food Science and Technology from University ISA (Dominican Republic) and the University of Puerto Rico and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cereal Science at North Dakota State University. Her expertise includes product innovation, analytical testing, and applied research to support industry-driven solutions.
