
Elizabeth Benson is a Program Manager at the Northern Crops Institute (NCI) in Fargo, ND, where she has played a significant role in advancing educational and professional development opportunities for the agricultural and commodities sectors. With a degree in Strategic Communications and a Minor in Business Administration from North Dakota State University (NDSU), Elizabeth combines a strong foundation in communication and business strategy with a passion for promoting the region’s agricultural industries.
Since joining NCI in May 2021, Elizabeth has been instrumental in producing a wide range of online and on-demand courses, as well as organizing key conferences, including NCI’s annual Ancient Grains Conference. Now serving as Program Manager, Elizabeth oversees both in-person and online course offerings, while continuing to manage the development of the Ancient Grains Conference. NCI’s mission of supporting the promotion and market development of crops from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana aligns closely with Elizabeth’s dedication to fostering collaboration and education across the global agricultural community.
